devildic.txt / rev 2.1

Since Ambrose Bierce's original 'Devil's Dictionary' of 1911 has already gone through an alleged 'Web 2.0' manifestation (They stole my idea! Before I even had it! Damnit!), here are a few contributions of my own;

AJAX;
Google & Microsoft's contribution to Dutch Football and Detergents, if nothing else.

Apple;
Innovation here is just like Production on Steroids; We have the tools to do it, but we let them shrink.

Blogging;
"Democracy is all about letting the other 9 intellectual percentiles get equal coverage."

Digg;
Ten million Frenchmen can't be wrong, but 1 billion Netizens can...

Emerging Markets;
For every hundred dollars you spend in an emerging market you gain one hundred dollars in bribed contacts.

Gmail;
"We checked; God does indeed use Gmail - But he enabled POP3."

iPhone;
"God enabled POP3 on his MotoQ - He'll upgrade when the iPhone runs 'WoW'..."

Firefox;
"It's what 'Internet Explorer' would be if all the bugs manifested locally."

Flickr;
‎(Yahoo+Coppermine)‎*‎(Myspace/Users‎)=____________

Israel;

3 more Nobel Prizes than either China or India ‎(5 to 8)‎ with 1/220-250 of the population... If only Yuans or Rupees were Shekels...

LinkedIn;
Or; MySpace for Tomorrow's Republicans.

Meebo;
"It's like an .EXE file went 9 years back in time and rendered in HTML!"

Microsoft;
"Working here is like climbing down Everest!"

MySpace;
Or; Why CFML is Macromedia‎(/Adobe)'s‎ last, great hope for fitting into web 0.1.3.x ‎(Beta)

NetVibes;
A 'widgetocratic' RSS aggregator on watered-down 'diet crack'.

Reddit;
‎(Digg)‎ - ‎(%90 0f Digg)‎ = Perfection

Web 2.0;
The popular name for a memory leak prevalent in Mozilla Firefox.
